Another fantastic product from Blue Marine; Elastic Gum paint.

Is the material of your inflatable boat or RIB outdated and can it no longer be patched up with regular cleaning products? Perhaps this new product from Blue Marine offers a solution; a very elastic paint in the form of a spray.

This flexible paint is not only suitable for a rubber boat but can also be used on artificial leather boat cushions and even on real leather.

The Elastic Gum paint is available in colors that match the original colors of Neoprene Hypalon material from Orca (the manufacturer of these materials);

Ice White, Off White, Cream White, Artic Grey, Neptune Grey, Military Grey, Black, Ocean Blue and Etna Red.

CHARACTERISTICS: Elastic Gum Paint is an extremely elastic, highly adhesive, WATER-BASED polyurethane paint.

Use to touch up or repaint deteriorated, aged or discolored surfaces such as inflatable boats, fenders, upholstery, leather/imitation leather, and any surface made of PVC, hypalon neoprene and ELASTIC SURFACES.

USE:
STEP 1:
Before you can use this flexible paint, the surface to be treated must be thoroughly cleaned.
For inflatable boats or floats made of PVC or Neoprene Hypalon material you can do this with New Magic.

For sky/synthetic leather cushions, pads, etc. you can use Forza 100.

For genuine leather; use a neutral soap.

STEP 2:
Sand the surface to be treated with 280/320 grit sandpaper.
Remove the sanding residue.

STEP 3:
Processing temperature: from +15 °C to a maximum of +40 °C.

Shake the spray can with Elastic Gum Paint well before use!

Spray light and cross coats over the surface.

Wait at least 10 to 15 minutes between different coats of paint.

The surface is dust-free and dry after about 5 minutes.

The complete drying time is between 6 and 12 hours (depending on ambient temperature and humidity).

No primer or filler is required.
